Missy is a female that we imported as a puppy, along with her littermate, Max. Our intention was to have one or both in our breeding program. However, the temperament of both dogs were ultimately not a good fit for what we produce, and severely lacked adherence to our breed standard in that respect. We have decided to place Missy in a pet home (Max was already placed last year). Missy is super sweet girl with lots of snuggles to give, but is very slow to warm up to new people, so she needs a home with a patient furparent who will give her ample chance to feel comfortable. She is very eager to please, has good food drive for training, and is submissive with other dogs, and is a well behaved house dog. She is a heavy bodied girl, with matching bone, heavy coat, and a lovely feminine headpiece. She has good defensive instincts and will put on quite a show for strangers that arrive at our property. However, she really is a big squishy marshmallow and we love her, but she is not to be a breeding dog and so she is available to a quiet home. She would pair well with a family that has another dog who has a confident and neutral character so she can feel comfortable. She does not really care at all about toys, but loves a good bone to chew on. She would rather be with her person than to play with objects. Her conformation is lovely, with very nice angles that provide excellent gait. She has wonderful reach and foot timing, making her movement very graceful and fluid. She has a super heavy coat. We are not concerned about payment for her placement, we just require just the right home to ensure she can live her best life.
